Donita Russell
She isn’t just a party planner; she has been planning events and interior designing homes for over 20 years. She has always had a strong passion for special events and talent for fantasy weddings. For Donita, entertainment, event planning and designing is second nature.
Growing up in a big family family, her activities on weekends were centered around food, family and friends. At the tender age of 14 years old, she planned her very own ‘Prince’ themed birthday party and everybody raved about it for months. Since then, she has planned numerous weddings, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, kids parties and the list goes on including interior home designing. Now, she is the “Go To” person for party planning for all of her friends and family.
Donita has a sincere passion for creating and orchestrating an event from start to finish. Donita knows the value of hard work, attention to detail and helping people make their ideas come to life. Donita has earned her Bachelors degree from the Robert Morris University in Business Management. She worked as a program coordinator, planning educational events. She also worked as an image consultant at Cinderella Events, managing dozens of corporate affairs and attire throughout Chicagoland area.
In wanting to take her talents to a higher level, she combined the knowledge and passion with her own personal style and started Divine Xpectations.
